The GREAT SEAL OF CAMERON was designed in 1955 by Cameron Art teacher Vivian Starnes Sims as an emblem for Cameron High School. Cameron had just been elevated that year from a Jr. High to a Sr. High School and a symbol that would represent this phase of the school's development was envisioned. The SEAL embodied the hopes, dreams and aspirations of the Cameron faculty, staff and administration for all students of Cameron.
